- The Code S is the sail closest to an asymmetric spinnaker, offering the possibility of being furled on its luff with the use of a furler.
The aim is to extend the sail's range of use as much as possible, while retaining all the advantages of a furling sail. It's a versatile, stable and powerful sail.
- Furling headsails: equipped with an anti-twist rope, these sails are ready to be unfurled. Whether for a downwind sail (gennaker or code S) or a breezy sail (solent or staysail), it can be used “all or nothing”.
If you plan to leave the sail in place rather than store it, you'll need to consider a UV strip.
Although UV tape protects the sail from UV rays, its weight can damage the leech of downwind sails (shearing effect).
