Sail protection

Worst enemy for your sails are UVs. For the protection of your sails we have chosen the best acrylic fabrics made by Sunbrella.

Used as UV-protection on your sails or for the fabrication of covers and lazy bags, these fabrics are providing the best results in terms of solidity and durability.

Careful: as resistant these fabrics are against UVs, they don’t like friction!

Accessories

Sailonet offers you all type of additional equipment for your boat.

We are providing sticky national codes, sail repair kits and bags for storage made of acrylic cloth as well as sail bags and plenty of other stuff.

Measurement

Sailonet disposes of a data base with over 7000 boats.  Despite this we recommend to measure again for every sail. This allows to verify if your rig corresponds well to the initial set up and also confirms (or not) the measures in our data base.

Example: Furling Genoa

For two identical boats the measures can deviate, depending on the mounting of used systems (furling systems, sail battens, etc.)

It’s always better to measure straight on the rig. Sometimes it’s also possible to take the previous sail as reference.
