Sparcraft Bowsprit diameter 80

Aluminium bowsprit, diameter 80mm.

It is designed to use a gennaker or an asymmetric spinnaker by clearing the balcony up to 90cm.

Asymmetric spinnaker:

Can be used for an asymmetric spinnaker up to 75/85m², as a classic asymmetric spinnaker or on a furler.

We recommend using the underbeard kit for a surface area of more than 70m².

The underbeard kit is available as an option. It prevents the bowsprit from riding up and bending. It consists of various ropes and components (see photo).

A tack ring kit is required to use a spinnaker furler. 

Can be used with the Facnor AFX2500 model.

Gennaker: 

This bowsprit is suitable for gennaker surfaces (or code 0) not exceeding 40/50m².

It must be fitted with the optional tack ring.

Can be used with Facnor FX2500 or FX4500 models.

An under-beard kit is recommended for a surface area greater than 37m².

1800 mm : Fixed length

1800 to 2600 mm: Length to be specified at step 2 of the order in the "Leave a comment" dialogue box

2600 to 3400 mm: Length to be specified at step 2 of the order in the "Leave a comment" dialogue box.

One Ø80 m aluminium tube

Two pre-assembled end caps:

Front end cap with under-beard clip

Rear end cap with retaining hook

A central fixing collar

Two work posts complete with counterplate and 4 M8 screws

One parking block, with round counterplate and 1 M10 screw
