On a boat, the bowsprit is a fixed or retractable spar pointing to the front of the boat. Very often used on modern and older sailing boats.
It is mainly used for asymmetrical spinnakers and gennakers (with or without a tack) very far forward of the boat and thus contributes to moving the centre of the sail forward.
The Soromap bowsprit is fixed with only 4 screws and is therefore very easy to install. Quickly removable thanks to a velcro strap and a ball pin.
